Course Overview

This training course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of inclusive education practices. It covers modules on a wide array of topics, including child development and neurodivergence, speech and language, fine motor skills and sensory processing, behaviour management, IEP development and monitoring, social-emotional learning, as well as strategies for building numeracy and literacy skills.

The course bridges research and practice by equipping participants with evidence-based strategies. Participants will develop the competencies required to support diverse learners and to collaborate effectively within educational teams.

Module 1: Child Development

Our Team

Our team brings together psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, ABA and behaviour therapists, early childhood interventionists, and special education teachers. With their diverse expertise and shared commitment to inclusion, they ensure the training is both practical and compassionate. Participants benefit from real-world strategies, professional insight, and a supportive learning environment designed to build confidence and skills.

Course Details

The course consists of approximately 60 hours of instruction across 6 modules taught over approximately 40 sessions. Classes are planned to be held twice weekly, each class comprising two 90‑minute sessions with a 15–30 minute break in between.

Yes, each participant will be provided their own copy of the learning materials utilized in the training.
All course materials and content are the property of THRIVE HEALTH and provided for personal learning only. Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited. Taking photographs or making recordings during classes is prohibited.
Your learning will be assessed through a combination of tests and practical tasks at the end of each module. Each module focuses on a different topic related to neurodiversity and inclusive education, allowing you to demonstrate your understanding progressively.

This approach ensures you build theoretical knowledge and practical skills you can immediately apply in your professional or caregiving role.

To maintain the integrity of the certification, it is only issued upon successful completion of all assessments. Certification is not merely participation, but an attestation that the candidate has acquired the required knowledge and skills. By maintaining this integrity, the certification enhances its value for successful participants.
While there are no penalties for absences, non‑attendance is highly discouraged as it can seriously impact your chances of gaining the knowledge and skills required to be successful on the assessments. You may wish to obtain notes from a reliable classmate for any missed sessions.
Each module’s assessment must be successfully taken to be eligible for certification. If you miss an assessment, please contact us for a suitable solution. If an appointment has to be scheduled outside regular classes, a fee may be charged.
Classes are designed to maximize learning through interactive methods best delivered via an in‑person classroom setting. There is no online option.
If exceptional and unforeseen circumstances prevent continued attendance, we may offer the opportunity to attend sessions when offered again in future, subject to capacity constraints and an additional fee to be determined by us.
This one‑of‑a‑kind course has been developed by a multi‑disciplinary team of experienced experts. It is designed to be highly practical and relevant. We anticipate that practitioners will gain knowledge and skills whose value will far exceed the investment required.
